Located just a ten-minute walk from the town center, the property provides easy access to shops, pubs, and restaurants, making it an excellent base for local exploration. Its proximity to the train station is also a notable advantage for those arriving via public transport. The bungalow is well-equipped, featuring essential kitchenware, an electric kettle, and cooking oil for basic meal preparation. A flat-screen TV and a comfy sitting area offered much-needed relaxation after a grueling day in the Peak District, especially following severe weather. Having a washing machine on-site also added to the convenience. While the decor lacks extravagance, the clean and comfortable atmosphere complemented my straightforward requirements. Communication with the host, Laura, was effortless, and she left thoughtful touches like crisps and biscuits. This property strikes a balance between cost and comfort, ensuring practicality without sacrificing necessary amenities. I would consider returning for another stay.
